Default Drop springs

I bought some R1 racing drop springs off craigslist today, they drop up to 3"... I don't want to go that far, I was thinking like 1 or 2 inches...

So how far are your guys rides dropped? and if you have pics, that would be a massive plus. I'm leaning towards just dropping it 1" because I still want to be able to get it into my buddies driveway since I'm over there every weekend.

Thanks in advance.

without going to coilovers, the most you can really drop a neon is 2"...

This is mine dropped 2.5' on Black Koni's and H&R lowering springs... they are a progressive racing spring that is very stiff, for racing, its a harsh ride but My *** end doesent move or even think about squating when i launch...

Sorry for the slow reply, but thanks for the picture! I haven't been home in a while so I only have internet access when Im at school.

FSU, I do have stock alloys, but they came off an older neon.

Another question I had... The coilovers are from R1 racing, but I can't find a website on them anywhere. I can find R1 wheels, but theres no hint of suspension on their site. Does anyone know about these? Are they just cheap crappy ebay coilovers? Even if they are, their better than what I have now, 230,000 miles on stock suspension and the back struts are noisy as hell and pretty squishy/bouncy.

Oh also, I'm not a hard driver, so I don't really beat on my car. I'm more of an easy driving commuter that likes to take road trips and do the occasional 1st to 2nd gear launch, but only in areas that I know I wont get in trouble.

So as far as 'performance' goes, as long as their better than what I have now, I'll be happy.

So for the coilover kit, I can just install them on stock struts, correct? I don't want to cut them at all, but I guess if I have to I will.

you can cutsome ofthe bottom the spring mount out since the coilovers arent as big as the old sping.I dont think you have to tho
