wow interesting... I would start off by doing the obvious... trace the tb cable all the way to the fire wall and make sure its not binding anywhere with the rack... then get under the dash and make sure its not binding with the steering linkage...

never heard of that... huh...

So is mine. Its a 96 4dr with no power anything as well. Your problem sounds weird. I cant picture how the throttle linkage or the steering could get intertwined. If there is nothing that looks out of place, I wonder if it has something to do with your power steering and idle controll. Its strange that it doesnt do it when parked, though. Is the car automatic or manual?

hmm... u hit the nail on the head with: odd problem

the thing that sucks is it doesnt seem to be a mechanical problem. Which means it could be an electrical bug in some weird short happening somewhere - or the pcm acting up. never heard of this though.

i think we can rule out vacuum leak because ur pedal moves. a vacuum leak shouldnt cause the throttle body to openor ur pedal to hit the floor.

Weird, I messed with the cables, and hit the gas a couple times, and it stopped, hasn't done it since. Im thinking of pulling my engine before long and replacing whatever I can, The battery box is completly broken and the whole front of the battery almost hits the radiator fan. My motor mounts are shot. Im trying to save up the money to get a new bumper too. Alot needs to be replaced, One belt is ripping and the other is cracking, so I gotta lota repairing to do.
