So lots of you know that this year im having amazing luck with things...

It continuied today... hardcore...

went to the junkyard.. looking for a tps sensor... and there sits a GT cruzier... for those of you that doesent know what the gt cruzier is its the pt cruzier with a srt motor in it... compleatly totaled in the rear... Look under the hood and its compleatly unmolested un-touched... So I go and ask the guy how much for the turbo fold... he said we are selling it whole for 550... guess who gets to go pick it up on tuesday...

I'm not going to fully swap all the electronic bull crap just going to swap it in and MS it so i dont have to deal with all the wiring...

but I allmost **** myself... I got paid today and now im broke and have no gas in my car... but oh the hell well...

I'm so exited...

the gt cruiser motor isnt exactly the same as the srt4 motor...the intake manifolds are different and so are a few other things

Well the whole interior is good so I figure pull all of it and sell off all the rest of the stuff on ebay or chryslerforums.com... make back some of the money... Wife gets paid tomorrow so all is well...

I know that the intake is different... allready got that sold to a buddy for 75 bucks... he had the cast metal one... that heatsoaks really bad...

Another buddie said he would sell me the intake for 75...

And Who cares about the rest... MS will take care of it...

The only other parts that I will need to buy besides the MS is the stratus 2.4 side motor mount, the 2.4 adapter, A wideband, a upper timing belt cover from a stratus, and the bobble strut re-location kit that moves the bobble sturt over so you can run the stock hot pipe...

So I figure that I can sell my AMM manifold and mp pcm that would give me 525 bucks...

and then my expenses would be...

40 2.4 side motor mount
70 2.4 adapter
289Wideband
12 upper timing belt cover
45 relocation kit
395 MS (this includes everything I would need for MS)
851 total...

So all i really have to come up with is 326 bucks... 400 to play it safe...

it aint that bad...

the gt cruisers are autostick...if i remember correctly

 

gt's came 5spd getrag or 4 spd autostick

All the GT's I've seen have been 5spd's.....but I do know they offered an autostick..

 

Freiend on org told me about the gearset in the Turbo PT, and how the srt4 neon crowd upgrades to them. The gears are awesome for boost. 3.29FD FTW
