I want to try an underdrive pully but I'm afraid that if I use one my alternator wont charge correctly and will my power steering suffer?does anybody have this problem?

your power steering will not suffer at all...

certain udp's will turn the battery light on (no codes, just the battery light) since its spinning the alterntor slower however it will still charge and you will be fine... there designed so everything still works safely...

 

You can find them on ebay for $35-$40 shipped. Run a few extra ground strap. if you are concerned with parasitic electrical drain. Will not effect you power steering

Josh (boxer) is using one of those cheap ebay pulleys and it works really well... Dident need to be heated up or anything just slipped right on...
