Neons do not have serpentine belts...

Are you talking about the power steering/ac belt or the alternator belt???

Theres top and bottom bolt that goes threw the alternator bracket facing you as you stand on the passenger side of the car...you need to loosen those two bolts then theres a long bolt on the back of the alternator facing the firewall... turn that bolt and it will go forwards and backwards... so adjust the alternator forward slip the belt on then adjust the alternator backwards using the bolt... once its tight tighten the top and bottom bolts that go threw teh braket and your good...

ORIGINAL: 95to96transplantneon

Neons do not have serpentine belts...
technically, the alternator belt is a serpintine belt....
there are 2 different types of belts......V-belts and serpintine belts
a serpintine belt is just a flat belt

Serpentine belta single, wider belt instead of multiple, thinner belts
