Dude, another starter question : What causes a starter to crank slowly? The battery is good, but the starter is weak acting. Bad ground?

Ground wire from the battery hooks to the lower starter bolt when you put it in. For weak starts you need to check every connection for corrosion. Or for a bad connenction. Yes a bad ground can give you weak starts.

I want to say the origingal ground strap for the starter went from the starter bolt to the fmm bolt... however I would go from the lower bolt to the drivers frame rail theres a few bolt holes for the battery tray... use one of those... better ground...

Attach ground cable to lower mounting bolt and start bolt.

go to autozone and buy a package of vaccum cap plugs..they come in different sizes and colors...then just remove all the unnecessary vaccum lines and put caps on them....
