Default Laser Turbo?

Hey there

I just got a 1995 Neon 2.0Lfrom my uncle for really cheap and I was wondering; is it possible to put a 1995 Plymouth Laser Turbo on my Neon? And if so how much work would it be? My friend has a banged up Laser so I figured I could buy it off of him and steal some parts. Are they fairly compatible or should I rethink the Laser?

rethink the project...
the turbo wont just bolt on, but with plenty of fabrication, time, and money, you could make anything work

its really not a bad swap, search ebay for a sohc manifold and all of the Garrett and mitsubishi turbos should work.

i'm actually sellling my full set up to Zack right now, its a chrysler 2.2 turbo set up.

captansavaho, no way to turbo a cali car without putting an srt engine in it and taking it to the DMV referee

there are no smog legal turbos for our car, without swapping to a motor that already has one, ive looked into it several times

also looked into registering it in another state at my uncles address, but unless its your permanent address in that state, its a felony to do that, the people that do it just havent been caught

im currently looking into selling mine to my uncle out of state, having him put the turbo on, and buying it back

im going to the DMV tomorrow, gonna say im moving in state and want to bring my turbo car over and see what they saw, registration might be higher

hahn didnt get there kit california approved because it would have cost $100,000 plus they would have had to give 2 of there turbo kits for every car and stage and page $25000 for each stage for each engine, DOHC stage 1-2, SOHC stage 1-2, = $100,000
