Crane #10 cam = why do I still have it?
About two years ago, I found a ported sohc head with a AEM adjustable cam gear, #10 cam, and header. Sold off the header, AEM gear, but the head and cam remain. Strange. The cam looks new with NO lobe wear, as of recently, it seems a could idea to clean out the combustion chambers on the sohc head, and do some valve work to it. Perhaps this will help sell these two. Just finished the valves for my dohc, so and they are going in the head today. Back to the question at hand, why do you not want a ported sohc head and #10 cam for $250 shipped?
The question is where were you a month ago when I had my head off my 95 motor? I almost bought a $250 ported head with turbo cam but the guy wanted to sell it as a whole with his motor when I got there to pick it up. damn!
Sorry Jack. I got tired of posting to watch them get no replies and disappear, while numerous member sold 95 sohc cams like hotcakes! The port work was done by a good machine shop, not me. I found it that was at the yard. Crazy he just junked it all over a broken timing belt. I junked the rocker arms, but can get more if needed. The cam itself retails for more than I am asking for the parts and shipping. Thru on a spare egr block off plate too. Had a aluminum sohc intake manifold, but junked it after finding a crack in the mounting flange.
