Well my dash, pioneer deck, sirius starmate deck, and the lighting by the driver's and passangers feet is blue so I decided I want to change the center console (A/C & Fan control unit) lights to blue. I pulled out the bulbs and ran a part number but found nothing online for sale with blue tint, only the originals which were even rare to come by. Do you know of the best place to get the same bulb but in blue? I know stores lil pep boys will commonly carry green, blue, & red bulbs for various locations on the car. If not my second best bet is to paint the existing bulbs, any recomendations or basic spray paint? My last option would be to put a layer of blue film behind the ***** and temperature/setting pictures thus making the light come through as blue. Just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance.

Dude, I think your best bet is the blue film idea. I have been thinking of a way to change the gauge needles to diffrent colors. I havnt yet found a solution to that one yet, just ideas.

 

a blue bulb or film would not work
the semi see thru marking of the little man and how hot/cold air is has a color coded film display
wen the white light bulb passes behind it, it lights up the color of the overlay
kinda confusing, but changing color of bulb wont work

now try shinging a blue light bulb behind a red blue and sour yellow color film
wat colors do u get?
dark blue, purple, and yuck green
