Default can I use my 97 neon axles on the 2.4 motor

Hey u guys question wit the axles do I use my axles that came off my single cam.. I feel confused for some reason.. Someone please help me lol wat axles do I use.. Also I lookin for the 3.94 tranny anybody sell a good one r no where to find one let me THANKS guys........

As long as they are mtx axles, you are clear for take-off.

long as both cars have either abs or both non abs and both are manual ur cool
nothing to do w engine

I can ship my 3.94. Have one just about sold, and another to get rid off. As for the axles, I'd recommend upgrading to 2G neon axles or srt axles, to b ready for the additional 30 lbs +/- of torque the 2.4L puts out.

thats good how much for the tranny u want and i use the 2.0 dohc axles right later down i get the srt axles

how do u switch to 2nd gen axles i have a pair, and am about to put a fully decked head onto my car, cause use more tolerant axels, already blew one

[align=left]What year are the axles from? I think you can only use 00 or 01 axles. You would also need the hubs as well. [/align]

the hubs?
like the wheel bearing thingy?
they will fit into a mtx tranny no prob
i can get some mtx 2nd gens fomr an 00 easy
wat exactly is involed and is the swith really worth it?
wat kinda power will i be able to handle over stock?

Its as easy as swapping the axles in with the hubs. Use your 1st gen knuckles so the struts will botl on, otherwise you will have to machine down the 2nd gen knuckles.

2nd gen axles are rated up to 165 ft/lbs of torque.
