sad to say, but gas prices are the straw that finally slowed me down

knew a girl that burned to death in a street racing accident, which put me off street racing, but i still drove fast, 80-85, down from 100 or so, never around traffic of any kind, but sht still happens

not even a front blow out at 85+ in my stock 97 neon slowed me much, probably because i was able to control it without panicking, so it didnt really scare me.

a month later i saw a 1st gen roll 3 times, from what appeared to be a front tire blow out

i actually plan on putting a roll bar in my DD along with street legal 4 points, and going with a full out cage and sfi approved 6 points in the race car

 

Him being an inexperienced driver didnt really have anything to do with it. When your going that fast anything can happen, a spilt second and you can be flipping end over end. It doesnt matter how experienced of a driver you think you are.

But yeah that video is deffinently a eye opener, and a huge reminder of what could happen to ANY of us. He is very lucky to have lived through all that.

gas is what has slowed me down, falling asleep at the wheel, by best friend dying trying to top out his turbo talon, it has effected me to not race on street, but i still push it, sometimes right around 100

you can die by gogin 4mph through an intersecion, he was extremly unlucky, and i am not gogin to bore myself driving at speed limit(40-45) to understand that i MIGHT lose control.
i lose control in my paved driveway in te rain
it sucks, im glad he got back to normal looking
i hope i dont get hurt, but i could get hit by lighting to, im real about it, i dont wanna live in fear of someone elses unfortuaet evens

im not gonna feel bad for the guy because it was most likely his stupidity that cause the accident.....a teenager with an srt4 on the interstate.....and from the looks of the car, he was obviously going faster then the speed limit....probally just a kid thinking he was hot **** driving an srt4 that he probally got for graduation......serves him right

 

I agree with spud just hope no one esle was in it with him. But would love to get ahold of the whole car

 

i sure could use alot of parts off of it....

i was trying to figure out if there were more people in the car because of the blood on the headliner in the back seat, and the blood by the rear view mirror/sun roof....but i guess the idiot could have been flopping around in there
