its not a worth while mod as previously stated. Some people believe that drums stop better than disks, but disk are more effieicent and consistant. rear breaks only do 15-20% of the braking anyway.

go somewhere else and find out. its a retarded idea no matter the reasoning. Go find a RT Neonand swap the parts off the rear, its a utter waste of time but go ahead and be a jerk off.

hhahahah

honestly man, give us all a reason why u want to switch?
is it cause u want ur car to be faster?
is it cause u want ur car to brake the same amount?
or is it cause u wanna view ur red spray painted calibers through your 14" steelies?

give us a benificial reason, were trying to tell u its not worth it, you will see(literally) nothing out of it.

Kiss your mother with that mouth?

To the OP, best option is to find a neon (1G or 2G - doesn't matter) with rear disc brakes. you will need the rear disc brake lines, as they are different from the lines used with drum brakes. You will need something (flat head screw drive, pry bar) to remove the dust cap for the 30mm nut securing the backing plates to the hubs. Get the ebrake cables. They are the same as drums, but it is less work to just take them IMO. It is all really self explanatory when you get started. Expect to have to bleed brakes an adjust e-brake cables upon completion.

Just some pics to get you going: http://www.turbododge.com/forums/f4/...sk-brakes.html

Jack and mullet you both should go screw yourself. we're here to help eachother, not to tell someone how they should do something they want to do.

Ok mullet here is one "beneficial reason" to switch, disc's are much easier to work on, change pads, maintenance and etc. You and jack should try to be a little nicer to new people. If there was absolutely no benefit to disc's do you think dodge would have wasted time putting them on the higher end neons?
