Default alarm probs

ok i havent run my neon in a while so the battery died. i put a new one in it and as soon as i have both cable connected the alarm goes off and the lights flash. now this wouldnt be a bid deal but my clicker button for the alarm doesnt work now for some reason. the light on the clicker lights up but it seems to do nothing at all. now my question is how in the hell can i disable the alarm or otherwise shut it off. i cant even drive it if i wanted now because it wont shut up lol... any help is welcome.

alarms usually go off when a battery is reconnected...

once when i was at a store a went out to my car and the battery died in the remote so i couldnt get the alarm to shut up....i ended up just grabbing the module, siren, and all the wires and just ripped it all out in the parking lot....worked for me

that might be it, but it might also be the trigger switch for adjusting the alarm settings....give it a shot though
