Default weight redux

I need ideas on what I can take out of my 98 highline 4 door SOHC to get the weight down. All I've taken out of it so far is the spare tire (older plans of getting a civic have been **** on) also if someone could give me a link to where I could get a manual rack/pinion steering conversion would be great. What needs to be done to take the A/C off also?

New plans for summer and fall are for a turbo and anything else that I can afford to get more scooty

Door panels, center console, back seat, passenger seat, anything that does not have a use to you in the car. The A/C is easy, take it out and get a belt for a car without A/C. The power steering, the right way, goto a junk yard and pick up a manual rack. Or you can just pull the pump off, that will free up some HP, just make sure to cap the PS lines, with fluid in the system, so if you ever want to put it back all you have to do is put the pump back in..

How hard is it to take off the whole pump and put in the manual rack? I figure it would be one of the best mods not having the motor run the pump and having the weight redux from taking it off.
