Hey i was searching around and ran across this web site> www.20horsepower.com
check it out and tell me if you think its true and will work. It sounds correct but, Its cheaper then buying a performacne pcm. There are review on it but,how can i tell if there true.

Well it seems they are installing it into the 02 sensor and thus theoretically possible I guess. But with OBDII you do need to have the Fuel/Air ratio to cycle rich then lean known as 02 switching (Will stop on certain occassions to allows certain things) which allows the elements of the CAT to work effectively. So this product would not allows for the cat to work properly i would imagine.

Down side is you could melt a cat if ran rich too long and this what it is doing. Would not be as safe as a Chip which could monitor your driving habits as well as engine requirments.

Just in case your wondering the cat will store excess oxygen when the F/A is lean and then pumps it back out when the F/A is rich to burn off the excess fuel. This is part of the new catalysts to control NOX as well as earlier controlled gasses such CO and HC.
