Default throttle body

I was wondering if I should install the throttle body from an automatic tranny equiped neon, to my manual tranny equiped neon? I did some research and the atx throttle body is slightly wider. If so would i have to modify my intake manifold in any way?

ATX TB is 52mm vs the MTX TB that is 49mm. It is a direct and easy swap. The biggest difference you will notice will be the ability to rev quicker because of the "touchy" spring feel from the ATX TB.

Don't expect big HP gains.

Das, the ATX TB with Cruise. where the cruise cable hooks up to is just like where the cable for the kick down cable. its that pushed on snap on type cable.

the throttle body you bought is from a 95/96 neon, the throttle body you have is from a 97-99 neon...
the clip styles for the cruise control were changed in about late 96....
so to fix the problem, you have to either change the butterfly shaft or get a new cruise control vaccum actuator

haha..
i just remember running into this problem in the past...
thats why whenever i sell a throttle body, i usually ask if they need the 95/96 style or the 97-99 style
