Default 2nd gen interior in first gen

I assume its not direct bolt in. So does anyone have tips, input, or write ups on this?

i know the center console will, long as you have a 2nd gen parking brake and cables and shift boot
i know the seats are direct replacment
the dash mite take som moding, but i saw someone on here w one, a black r/t fully srt4 swapped, interior and all

the door panels dont fit and I dont see how they could even be modded to fit without alot of trouble. I have a set of srt panels and when you hold them up to my 96 doors they are not even close. The seats are definitely direct replacement, but I dont see the point in changing out the center console anyway since the 2 both perform the same function. I put SRT4 seats in my neon and they actually matched up quite nice with the all mostly dark grey interior anyway.

Good point on the door panels. I think I am going to pick up a full interior set and try to mod everything to fit. See what happens. at 2k8 I seen a 1st gen with 2nd gen interior but didnt think much to check it out.

2nd gen dashes don't swap into our 1st gens. They are different.

well I have a full set of SRT panels and the front door switches... if somebody wants them I will let them go for $100 plus shipping. I can set you up an ebay sale if that makes you feel more comfortable about the transaction. I just dont need them since they wont fit anyway.
