OK before I get flamed for not searching, I did. Could not find the correct answers so I'm asking.
I grenaded the 2.0 dohc, I found a 2003 pt 2.4 with 12,000 miles. The walk thru is for the 95-2000 2.4. Has anyone successfully put in a 2003 engine and what mods are needed over the walk thru?

you will need the entire engine wiring harness, entire engine bay harness, pcm, ignition key, gauge cluster, and a few other things because 2001 and newer use a sentry key system

 

if u decide not to use the engine, i want the rockers/lifter!!


but if you can do it that would be cool

 

the crank trigger is different. you can use it and use an exteranl crank trigger and crank trigger wheel and it would work just fine... same can be done with the srt-4 motor.
