so im not even going to waste my time posting this in the car audio section

on my amp there is input and output jacks for the amp hookup cables,
now i know that the cables go from the headunit to the input on the amp
i was just wondering what the output is for?

 

So you can run another amp besides that one.

yes, the output on the amp is only needed if you running two amps

 

well thats if you dont want to run another set of rcas to the back!

 

yes, but somtimes the head unit only has one set

 

if you get a crappy one haha...mine has three rcas...well then i got a digital eq so there is a few more rcas right there...but yeah either you run more then one set of rcas to the back or just bridge from one amp to the other
