How is the neon coming?
For those doing repairs and/or mods, how is it going?
My charging issues has left me neon parked for almost two weeks. Only have two days off to deal with it, and a few hours out of those days. So far, I have a new alternator, battery, 97-99 dohc pcm and in the process of swapping in a 99 chasis and engine harness. Just soldering the connections right now before the install. Sucks it has taken so long, as i owe a mtx to a fellow forum member and cannot get down there to get a bell housings and ship it. Will have to send him mine if progress is not made. Also considering moving on to a 2.4 next year with boost. That is all for now.

I am on my 3rd motor swap on my neon in the last 3 months. Still cant find a lower end. But I got my dohc head, manifolds, ecu, and harness ready to go. So maybe in a week or 2 it will be done again. The engine better last more then 1500 this time!
Yeah. Just went to start the car (or see if it would) and nothing. No priming fuel pump. No radio. No cranking starter. No headlights. My turn signals are blinking as though a bulb were out, and wipers work.
i finally got my oil psi gauge working today. after ordering parts from dodge i also have the altenator back on. now i just need to get a v-belt. car is ready for its 2,000 mile oil change. so far pretty good. as good as can be expected.
Its kind of doggy right now for some reason. It was running damn good for a couple of weeks, and now is starting to lag a little bit. Im wondering if its those damn NGK Iridium plugs you guys warned me about. It never ends, does it?

Why did you waste your money on those? I usually go with champion coppers enless I am running turbo.

not too bad, did the atx-mtx swap thing, now my ac is going outin the 97 DD, and i have code 42 but no ODB2 codes to back it up

Like I said, you guys warned me about those NGK plugs and I wonder if they are whats causing my car to run a little crappy right now. Its only been a month with those plugs. Could they be the culprit already?
well im settin up a 2.4 everything going weell wit the motor only thing im looking for is the 2.0 dohc wiring harness and ecu.. but other then that it smoving slow due to the fact that my single can keep breakin down and im spendin money on that. i need a car to get back and forward to work... im also going turbo so.so hopefully if everything goes well i should be done b4 fall
