just snapped the passenger side axle at the hub. couldnt see the axle spinning at the diff last night in the dark. thats why the driver's side didnt move and why it didn't move the car. never thought id be relieved to bust an axle....
first a motor mount bolt, then an axle. my engine is beating the hell out of the rest of my car. in all fairness i believe the bolt put extra stress on an already worn axle. but still.
how much torque should stock axles be able to hold? myengine is .020 over, a little decked, and has a pile of bolt ons. i didn't think i was in harder axle territory.
