Default Exhaust

Im looking to upgrade my exhaust to make my car sound like it has some *****. Any suggestions? I want to be able to easily put it on myself...do i need to upgrade the pipe size? I would also like the dual exhaust look. Thanks!

I got pulled over in front of the cop shop for having a loud exhaust. All I use is stock everything and a ebay carbon fiber muffler. I was in neutral at the time. Now I plan to get the srt-4 rear section. I think that will look ****.

if you have the money, then i would reccomend the vibrantor a borla....both sound bad *** and are easy to install and are made for the stock pipe.
i still have my srt4 rear section hanging in the garage...if i could ever find a good resonator to give it a deep tone, then it might go back on...otherwise, it looks fine on the garage wall

Mine with the Kirk long race header, no cat, anda cheap Ebay stainless muffler packed with ceramic, is louder than ****. Im suprised that I havent been pulled over yet. Installation is pretty easy, considering what youre getting in return.

i went with extended race headers, magnaflow hi-flo cat, and crinkle piping back to a ebay muffler. whatever u do make sure its mandrel bent tubing so u dont get that annoying rattle that i have.[:@]its such a pain in the a$$ to hear that once i get over 3,000 rpms.

as much flak as ive gotten for posting californias crappy vehicle laws, you guys from the east sure get popped a lot more for loud exhausts then we do. Ive ran my truck, and my neon muffler-less, both with headers and havent ever been pulled over once for sound. And i dont baby it around cops either, i just dont burn out or speed near them.

I am using stock everything with a flow master dual exhaust. I have been told just idling by other motorists it sounds nice (by a chic even :P). Depending on how loud you want it just go with whatever works for you out of their series. Now that i have done some modifications under the hood if I floor it, my car is really loud....specially after adding a CAI. I also put chrome tips on mine for a added show effect.
