I was thinking of selling my neon but i also might also be able to do a tranny swap for cheep with STS
so im wondering if i could make more money off a auto car or a manual car
it will have 75xxx KM on it buy the time

depends who's looking at it. most of the time - stock will make someone more apt to buy the car. our resale values are actually going up a little thanks to gas. I personally wouldnt even buy an auto neon. but i bought my 5spd the same day i saw it.
I personaly think the auto trans will draw a bit more prospective buyers; Reason I believe this is because with the rise in fuel prices. Furthermore, not everyone wants a MTX for a DD, and some don't even know how to drive an MTX.
MTX gets better gas mileage though.
It all depends on the person. "Why do you have Product A here for $5 and the same product over there for $10?" "Because some people want to spend alot of money, and some people dont want to spend as much" <its a quote from somewhere, just telling you that you need to sell it for the price you want and when the right person comes along it will be sold>

Yes the MTXdoes get better mileage, but not everyone know how to drive them. I personaly never drove one before I got my R/T here in alaksa; I knew the basic consept on "how to" but, downshifting was something I had to learn for myself. I am a lot better at it now. Point is not everyone wants to learn to drive an MTX and would just rather stick with the ATX and I'm sure there are more people out there that still don't know how to drive an MTX with no ambition to learn to.
i love driving an mtx...but lately, i like the auto alot more....
i once bought a neon from a kid i knew for $1000...car looked like ***, but had alot of aftermarket parts on it....i fixed all the problems it had and converted in to an auto...sold the parts i took off of it for a total of about $3000 and then after 6 months and 15,000 miles, i sold the car for $600...
i bought a 98 r/t last year some time for $800....sold the intake for $140, sold the mopar pcm for $130, and kept the stock r/t rims that were on it....sold the car for $1000
look at it this way....how much are you planning on getting out of the car, and whats it gonna cost to keep an auto or change to a 5-speed?
