well I raced a ferrari enzo and smoked it. its euro so it has no power like my super domestic neon.
I think people should just.... RACE and find out for themselfs, maybe he will hesitate, miss a gear, 1/100000th of a chance his car will throw a rod out through the bottem end, lol thats the easiest way to find out.

No there aren't any V8's offered from the factory but I know two people who both have superchargered Grand Prix's. One is putting out 375 hp and 372 lb ft and the other I have no clue. They both run low 14- to high thirteens. One would assume you wouldn't race with a stock vehicle. I know what I'm talking about I was just operating on some incorrect assumptions.

Wow, some people have no clue. V8?????? You will most likely lose though. The GP is heavier but the hp to weight ratio is still a little better. If you have a MTX with a few mods you should take him. You won't get killed. I ran a older GTI last night in my neon, I won but only by about a half a car length. I should have lost by a car length or more, but the guy couldn't drive. and I did this 3 times light to light.

You will lose. My best firend had a 98 Grand Prix GT. He went to school with a kid who was running a 95 Neon ACR I think. He had done heavy mods; UDP, headers, cat-back, CAI, suspension, Well you get the idea. He got beat down EVERY time they raced. Yes, he knew how to shift. From a dead stop, or from a roll, the stock GPGT beat it everytime.

Well then I would have to ask what the Grand Prix had, because if the neon had "heavy" mods it would dust a stock grand prix GT, especially the 1st gen neon being that its lighter then the current model neon.
