how hard is it to change the tranny filter gasket and how long does it take?

 

It's take time because of all the bolts you have to take out, but it isn't hard. Make sure you clean all the old gasket material off or you will have a leak.

About an hour tops.

 

drop the tranny pan pull the old filter and gasket out and put the new one in, more than likely change your fluide at this point too. ive personally nvr changed one but my ddad did in our 2000 and i dont remember if he changed the fluid then or not. PRETTY SURE U DO THO
