Hi , My first post go easy on me. I just purchased a 98 neon for daily commuting to work and save on gas, But While driving in the highway it will buck slightly when I let off on the throttle in 3rd gear Its an auto and it has 120000 miles what should i look at first ?

 

do you have the AC or defrost on when it's "bucking"?

 

No neither ac doesnt work . I might check and see if the compressor is working

 

take it to autozone or any local parts store and have them run a diagnostics test. You could also try changing the spark plugs and o2 sensors.


AC system most likey has a freon leak
