duel exhaust question

Default duel exhaust question

is it possible to run duel exhaust ona 98. could they just weld in a Y pipe and run it to both sides. or do you have to run piping from the engine? thnx

You don't want true dual exhuast, 2 pipes coming from the engine back, you will lose a lot of power. There are set-ups like the pacesetter and borla that have a single pipe back to the muffler and then split into two tips, those are fine to use if you want the dual look.

What set up is that?. I have never seen duals done like that before, is that a 2 muffler set-up?

well my local performance shop that works on neons put it on for me,but they are duals from Magnaflow....

I've seen that done a lot on Accords and some toyotas.

dual exhaust is only good for cars with v6 or v8 or mr cars hondas and toyotas with dual exhaust have loud sound but are szlow

As I said already:

Do you read what has been posted already before you post? This is the 3rd post I have read where all you have done is rewritted what someone else has said.
