how hard is it to wire and mount fog lights on a 96. my car doesnt have a switch for them, im assuming that id have to get a new switch panel for the fogs and rear def.....im asking this because im going to be buying an EVO kit probably in the summer.
Depending on what you wanna do, its not that hard, mine are direct wired to the battery with a solinoid switch. The hardest part was getting the switch into the passenger compartment. Its really an easy job.
Depending on how (ahem) legal you want to get you may have to wire them depending on state to only come on with low beams or no ights. Something to keep in mind if you even care. But overall either way not hard to put in lights.
I think all Neons are prewired to accept fog lights. I know that they are prewired for stereo speakers in the dash, even though some did not come with them. If this is true you could go to a salvage yard and get the fog light/defrost piece and try and make it work.
good choice on the body kit...ill be gettin my evo5 kit in about 2 weeks...ofcourse i have an 04 i dont know if itll be the same with the fog lights or not but ill let you know how hard it was to get it together or what not
