is your CEL lit? If so, did you pull the codes? Rough idle can be so many things without you giving more information. When was the last time you had a tune-up? Spark plugs, wires, coil pack (cracks), PCV valve, fuel pump, fuel filter and so on are all possibilities.

What das said. If you don't have the manual buy one, its a great help. You can google to find out how to retrieve the codes and what they mean if you don't know how.
On this topic, has anybody broke a timing belt and gotten the 11 code? I was wondering if it's valid for all Neons.

I'm stuck at home baby sitting the son's Malamute while he's off for a weekend in the mountains I can't get to my Haynes manual. I was wondering what the sensor fault code number is.
