cause the axle shaft NOT to come out of the hub? everything was doing fine with getting a new hub installed, except the old hub coming off. got everything off cept the axle shaft. tried PB blaster for like an hour, BFH, broke one BFH, and all and all the axle shaft is still in the hub. but its now almost out but we cant hammer it out anymore cause of where its at and aye....

any ideas?

no, a bad bearing would not cause this. its most likely rusted in tight, i used a peice of pipe to push it out the rest of the way. just be aware that you could kink the bearings between race

yeah we had to use a 4lb sledge to get it out. dont know why it would be rusted though. when it came out there was no rust and the grease was still on there from when i installed it (50 miles ago) but oh well. its all fixed now.
