Default pcm plugs

when pulling the motor.

i disconnected the pcm. then they say to disconnect two plugs, one white and one black. one of the plugs will lead to the motor, the other one to the front clip wiring harness.

could someone explain to me where these plugs are.

also does any body have suggestion of how to get the axle nut off. i tried breaker bar, portable impact wrench, A lot of PB blaster. and still nothing.

sorry if this a dumb question

on the 98 the pcm has two plugs one is grey and the other is black. For the one that connects to the engine harness should be black 4inch by 1 located around the power dist box.

for the axle bolt its somthing like 180ftlbs so youll need a 5 foot long pipe to addd to your and a breaking bar

95 has one lagre pulg that goes to the PCM and one lagre one that goes to the chasse harness.

for the nut, the long pipe useally worked for me i just got alot a leverage to put some major torque on it.

im sacred of useing heat since i dont like burning things or chageing the heat treatments.

the 95 has 1 plug going to the pcm....if you trace the wires back from the pcm about 6 inches, you will find another set of big plugs.....disconnect those instead of what the manual says

180 ft.lbs for the axle nuts? no way. but still would need a pipe or something if its being stubborn. anyways, according to the manuals and the FSM, its torqued down to 135ft.lbs. just to let u know lol.
