what size ?
I have a 95 plymouth neon sohc and im trying to think of what size exhaust i should go with...2.5 or 3.0 in ?And the car is stock

on a stock motor...just go with 2.5, upgrade to 3'' when u do forced induction or NA build up

hell on a stock car, its a waste of money to upgrade the pipe diameter

isnt the stock size 2.5''? or is it 2.25''?

Stock is 2.25 I believe, which is plenty for a neon. Hell I only have a 2.5" pipe on my built camaro...

when i get my new header it has a 3 in collector so i decided to go with a 3 in exhaust do you guys think thats to much?

ummm..yeah....if they pipe is too bit it will rob you of power just the same as if the pipe was too small....
3" pipe shouldnt be used unless the car is fully modified and running a huge turbo....
even on my fully built turbo r/t i was only running 2.5"

When you get your new header, save the money on the exhaust piping and use it elsewhere, where it will help.
