I have been thinking about taking out my back seat of my 4 door neon and putting in two single racing seats and leaving the the trunk exposed for a future sound and lights system. Has any one else tried this and how did it work out. any suggestions please let me know.

it has been done before but 1 thing that you will have to remember is that the back seats will sit alot higher then the front seats due to the ledge under the back seat

what if you were to bolt it down with minimal frame underneath it. it won't sit much higher than the stock bench would it. i have never take the seat out so i don't know.

no matter how you do it, the back seats would sit about 6-8 inches taller then the front seats.....
