well the other day i was at the junkyard getn my bobble strut for my car. cost my 10 bucks for that! i been wanting to do the 3.0 for a long time now well while i was there i picked up the intake tube for 5 bucks. as of right now i have no filter on it but i have a wire screen on the end of the 2 1/4 pipe so nothen get up n side of it. im very plzd with this modification.

 

it still isnt safe to use it that way. dirt particles and what not can still get past the screen

 

Not to mention your still sucking in dirty air into your engine. Put a FILTER ON IT NOW!

 

well first dust cloud you go through might be your last. but K&N filters are very good...did you cut the front of the battery tray off and do the complete one? i did and love it but had the exaust pipe bent so it curves around the tray.

 

i have put the stock air box on it with the 3.0 intake for now. im getn a K&N asap when i get my system sold. i also took a/c and PS off my car. completely and looped my lines.
