cause the car to run like it is starving for gas and attemp to die?because the other day when i did my egr valve i got shocked by the battery when i was holding the fuse box and trying to disconnect the battery and was wondering if its possible that i shorted the fuse out?i have a brand new battery,plugs,wires,starter etc. any help greatly appreciated thanks

 

I do not think that would happen. if it is a possability try swaping it out with another relay.
