Whats up guys. I'm Derek, from NY. Looking to get another neon. Had a blue 4 dr '95 as my first car...with a chrome luggage rack on the trunk from the dealer! lol I miss it...want another neon...looking to get a coupe this time with a MTX.

First question(s): what size is the stock exhaust piping? Are there any electronic cut outs I can weld on?..I've found one but its for 2.5" piping. Is my car gonna run funny since the O2 sensors will probably be thrown off?

stock is 2.25". If its another 95 Neon, then the downstream (Bank 2, after the Cat) O2 sensor might throw a code but it wont affect the fuel/air ratio. but if its a 96+ then it will affect that ratio.

 

Why do you want an electronic cut out?
