So I pick up a new 99 r/t. It came with a ice man intake. My question is, are the iceman intakes known for sucking up water? Because here its snowing and dont want water in the motor. The spot the filter sits doesnt seem like it has much exposure to slash's and so on. WHat do you guys think?

 

not too sure where the ice man runs.. i made my own and it runs down, in between the battery box and drivers headlight, the middle of the filter is about where the little whole is in the core support for the tube that goes into your battery box (tube and front of battery box no longer there) and i've never had a prob with mine sucking stuff up. always is dry. so if it's anywhere near where mine is you should be good.

 

I sucked up water with my Iceman, but because I went through a DEEP puddle that I didn't think was that deep.

You don't have to worry about rain and so on, but stay away from puddles.
