I would like to run 17" wheels on my 97 Neon is this ok w/o giving up ride quality. What would be a good tire size. Also I'm in need of replacing struts/springs whatever is on these Neons. Any help would be appreciated and if you guys know of anyone selling these items at a reasonable price please let me know.

 

205/40-17" tires is what you need. I have a friend selling some Mopar High Rate springs for $125 picked up.

Get some KYB struts from Modern Performance to run with the Mopars for a nice suspension setup.

 

if your not wanting to sacrafice ride quality, then 17's would not be the way to go
