Post Cat problem

If i Cut my cat out and put a piece of pipe or the weld on flex would it throw an engine light cause mines crap ill buy one if i have but i was just wondering if it would throw a code?

Deleting the cat is illegal. Without a cat, you it will throw codes for the 2nd o2 because it will burn it up faster. I would replace it. Driving with a bad cat can be very unsafe for the car and driver. Sometimes when the material inside comes loose, it will move around and constrict flow.

im with him it will throw the code for the last o2 sensor and then it wont pass inspection so just replace it
