does any one now?
I have Swapped a neon motor into a eclipse before. I just want to say that the only thing that is the same is the block, pistons, crank, bed plate, oil pump, water pump. THe eclipse motor also follows the neon when the changed between 95 and 96. So yes you can use a eclipse lower end in a neon. But thats it. There is so much for to the eclipse under the hood, it really sucks switching everything from the old motor to the new.
well my mopar acr book says that my acr neon has a 420a motor in it.....maybe i read wut u said wrong but i think ur saying that the neon dont have a 420a motor and every neon booke i have from performance to just a regular booke u buy from a part store says it has a 420a motor.....but u might be right i dont no every thing
if you want to get technical, the blocks would be the same, but, the engine consists of more then just the block and since everything above the block is different, it isnt a 420a engine...
