The ebay turbos are cheap. I have heard of them cracking very easy. I have seen a few that fell apart. I was considering buying one, I did researched and thats what I found. So I would stay away. You can find rebuilt garret's for about the same price. I used ebay intercooler setup before and it worked great.

turbos are bad from ebay, the seals tend to be terrible and will leak, that is what i have found when i thought about using one, instead of spending about 900 on a turbo, i am going to spend the 900 on the turbo and not take the chance...

Who here has actually bought a turbo from Ebay and from which seller? If a turbo's seal leaks just rebuild it, you'd still save alot in the long run. The rebuilds are cheap and easy to do and necessary after so many miles. When buying things on ebay always always check the feedbacks from other buyers, thats a clear indicator.

I bought 4 turbos off ebay, one of them was was the cheapo one, 3 were garrett t3's. The cheapo ebay one (brand new) actually broke the first week on the car. When I say broke I mean it cracked apart. It was the t3 with the internal wastgegate. Has some ****ty brand name I dont remember
