Default Megasquirt help.

Well I have learned that Megasquirt is a very hard thing to understand. I have been searching everywhere for answers to a few simple questions. I have the 420a/neon Megasquirt. It game wired in a harness with all sensors. It also has a tune for a stock dohc with 8psi on a srt-4 turbo. 36 injectors. This sticker is faded but reads. (Rs autosports, 255kps, *** spark extra 021u3. ms2-0163) My questions is. This is a ms2 right? ANd when I use the megatune software it has a list of choices. What version do I pick? If I download a base tune do I need to make sure it is the same megasquirt system and software as mine? Also the megasquirt unit itself has a vaccum hook up. Is that an extra option? Thanks for help. Anything else you guys can think of off the top of your head would be great.

*= I cant read it.

With out a vaccuum line the computer will not know if the engine is pulling 30' of vaccuum or 8 lbs of boost.Have you downloaded the latest software.

So that a vac/boost thing. I was just wondering, because it has a map sensor. Anyways I did download the latest megatune.

I don't think RS ever offer the 420 in MSII (unless someone upgraded it, it's MSI)
