shaved doors?

when someone says that there car has shaved doors and trunk, what are they referring too. does that mean they took off the trim and made it smooth or is there something else involved in that.

no thats about it. alot of bondo or fiberglass and sanding. my friend and i shaved his body line on his truck and it completly changed the look of his truck like you wouldn't believe. hardly anyone shaves body lines and i was thinkin about shavin my body line on the neon. its under the bumper strip down the side so i removed that entire strip.

it normal refers to getting rid of the door handles.
Ie.taking the handles out and welding in a filler piece of metal, some bodyfiller, new paint...you get the idea, then installing door poppers to get the doors open.

yes, also some people wire jumper cables permananty in case their battery dies and can't get the doors open.

yah shaving the doors means getting rid of the handles and locks and any body trim usually even tho in our case the handles have the locks in them

yea its a pain in the ***, there are kits that involve making a turnsignal the open switch for the door or even waving a magnetic card over a area to open them
