it's an electrical problem, but it's not due to a bad sensor.

does it seem like the cylinders stop firing when u hit the gas? Kinda like the exhaust is clogged up?

yeah i guess you could say that what it feels like, for a second but then it takes off real quick.

you think it has something to do with grounds?

check your battery connections, engine ground, wires going to your coil pack and O2 Sensors...I can't remember...I've had my neon for 8 years and gone through 5 engines, 2 trans, and had just about every problem possible w/ my neon.

the ground that goes from the pass. side fender to the engine. i moved it, right now it is on the pass. side strut tower bolt and goes to one of the bolts on the header.
could that be it.

did you clean the paint off of the area where it bolts to? If so, possibly...I really can't remember what I did to solve the problem...when it comes to me, I'll reply again.

yeah i clean it off where it mounts to the strut tower, and i tried to get some off the header too, but not to sure how clean i got it.


yeah try to remember, it would help me a lot.
