as it was gettin a little warmer here this week out in indiana i went to open my sunroof and it wont open at all just makes an obnoxious clicking sound over and over and it started to open and i had to force it shut.......i was just wonderin if i was gonna need a whole new sunroof or if it is a common problem with neons or what?

 

the sunroof motor is probably dieing you can just replace that or it fell off track but you can keep the same sunroof just replace the motor

the sunroof motors were built using plastic gears.....alot of times a couple of teeth will break off the gears and cause a flat spot.....that is what usually gives you grinding sound.....
