Default Throttle body stuck wide open!!!

wen i bought the car (96 plymouth neon atx) and was about 2 miles away from the guys house and the throttle body stuck wide open and the brake pedal was solid i tried to over power the brakes but no luck ended up stopping using the ebrake and shuting the car off and after i did that then the oil pan gasket blew out completely and had a puddle of oil under the car anyone know why other then just a sticky throttle body?

happened to me before. where the intake clamps onto the throttle body, if you have the clamp in the wrong position, the throttle body will be able to open but won't close.

The lack of vaccum because the car was floored. A huge problem is the battery tray cracking then is rests on the throttle cable on the tb.

You need the vacuum to run the power brake booster, and push the fluid to and from the master cylinder.

ok i figured out why the throttle got stuck wide open the battery tray got wedged under the throttle holding it wide open the part that is suppose to hold the positive cable to the battery so i figured i will just cut the battery box apart so it wont happen again and i was gunna use a zip tie to hold the wires away from it so it doesnt get hung up
