modular and non modular

Angry modular and non modular

I have a 98 rt can i use a non modular clutch or does it have to be a modular

You can use a non modular, but your going to have to buy a flywheel. The non modular clutched used a flex plate that the whole assembly attached to. You will need to find either a stock flywheel, or by a lightweight aftermarket one.

Your vin code will tell you which clutch it uses by where it was made. I think its the 11th digit, t or d.

I believe D is the Modular...and i cant remember the non modular...

EDIT: 11th digit. D is Belvidere, which would be modular, and T is Toluca which would be the conventional clutch.
