Hey...since some days ago, my car experienced a loss in power and today I found a piece which seems to be melted. It's code is 4287 626 and it has written on one of it's sides VAC...and a little bit below that EGR...

Can I have your thoughts on this..since it seems to be causing some gas to escape from the hose.

I have no clue what the part is, but it sounds like a vacum control, replace it. If you are loosing power and have a "gas" leak then fix it, its not suposed to be melted and probally won't work too well in that condition.
