looks like im gonna be doin the 2.4L swap
i dont see y i have to use my stock 2.0 dohc intake manifold and starter. i actually have the sohc wiring harness and i made the sohc starter work with the dohc. also y do i need a dohc wiring harness if i already converted my sohc harness to work with the dohc. and the coolant hardlines y cant i use the ones on the 2.4.
is there anyone who can tell me what i really need to get b4 doin the 2.4 swap other than the motor mount adaptor and 58psi regulator. and y cant i use the stock injectors on the 2.4.

2.4 manifold wont fit, sohc and dohc starter are the same as far as I know, You wont need a dohc harness if you modded yours for a dohc, I am not sure on the hard lines, But It would just be easier to use the 2.0 dohc hard lines, unless they are the same. You need to use stock injectors, the 58psi regulator will give the motor enough fuel to run the extra .4 liters. Stock fuel pressure is 49. The 2.4 injectors most likely have different clips and different flow ratings.
well i wont be boosting yet so for now will the stock injectors on the 2.4 work? and the sohc starter and dohc starter are the same just it has a different harness pluggin into i just modded it to work. but can i use the alternator bracket off the 2.0 motor and bolt it on the 2.4 block to use the alternator in the same spot? do they have the same holes on the back? or do i have to pull a bracket from a pt cruiser for the bolt pattern
also y wont the 2.4 manifold fit? its too big to fit in the engine bay? it doesn't look like its too big. the only reason y i ask is because im selling my dohc as a complete motor and i dont want to be pullin parts off it for my new motor. so can i get away without using the intake manifold, coolant lines, water inlet piece, knock sensor, starter, ect.?
