Will my 185/65/14 tires fit on my 2nd gen rims which have 185/60/14 tires on them? Might be the other way around, but would either way work?

of course they will as long as there 14's they'll go on the rim no problem. as far as clearance ya they'll work cuz theres very little difference in profile from a 65 to a 60 especially since your goin smaller it'll clear everything. even if its the other way around its still almost no difference none to worry about

185/60/14
185 - mm wide
60 - mm sidewall
14 - inch rim diameter

well the 60 in the tire size is actually just an "aspect ratio" meaning its just the height of the sidewall in ratio to the tread width and rim diameter. cuz a 205/40/17 is actually a nociabally smaller profile than a 215/40/17 the 40 is just a ratio not a direct unit of measurement

I'm pretty sure the fourty means 40% of the width...

205/40/17 = smaller then 215/40/17

ok ya your right that actually sounds better and makes more sense but ya basically what i was tryin to say is that its not a direct unit of measurement.
